Real to sign new long-term deal with Venice  1bn

Real Madrid are set to sign long-term  1million contract for Brazilian young star Venice, with Spanish media reported to agree a fee in the region of 1bn. The 21-year-old Vinicius made his debut for Real last season and scored a crucial victory in the Champions League final. According to recent reports, top French club PSG have tried to persuade Real and Venice to sign a new contract worth pound 34.4million a year.

However, Venezuela is keen to stay at Real and will extend his contract when he returns from vacation in the coming days, according to Spanish sports daily Marca. “I will stay at the best club in the world,” he said in an interview last month. Venice scored 22 goals in all competitions for Real last season. He made 20 assists, one of the best performances of his career.
